This cockfighting video was filmed in early 2008 as part of an undercover investigation into illegal cockfighting operations taking place in Henry County, Virginia.

 

 

Largely due to this investigation carried out by an organization called "Last Chance for Animals" (LCA), the Virginia legislature subsequently passed a law making participating in or even attending a cockfight a felony offense. The law went into effect on June 01, 2008.
